Life and Death

I took this photo in beautiful Hampstead Village while I was studying over in the UK last summer. I was struck by the marked contrast between these beautiful lively children, running in the sun, and their close-by neighbors who had been laid in their dark graves once upon a long ago time. We all meet the same end in this world, no matter how we would try to defy it.
